What a MONTH!

This past month has been filled with so many new experiences for our family. Bella started school for the first time and along with that came many new and fun activities, like Bella's new dance class (which she LOVES!). Isaiah has had to learn how to get along without his very best friend for the first time. I am so glad that my kids are close together in age because they get along so well, but it was so sad for me to take Bella to school and explain to Isaiah that he would be at home without her. But in return, Levi got a new best friend, and a big brother that had a lot more time to spend with him. But, the "first" that really put the icing on the cake was our families first outbreak of the pink eye! All thanks to the yucky school germs!!! Needless to say, not all of our new experiences were fun ones. On a brighter note, Levi also had his first birthday this month and that is always an exciting milestone! He also took his very first steps this month, and he is now a PRO at walking. Unfortunately, I am not yet a pro at chasing all them of them at once :)! If I have learned anything this month, it's that the road of motherhood is filled with mountains and valleys, and we have to take the good with the bad. I don't like the valleys, but life is not really life without them. I want my family to really understand the joy of the Lord. His joy is not circumstantial, but based on the hope He has given us! See, this life is only a vapor, but he has given us the promise of a perfect eternal life and in the meanwhile, he has given us so many blessings to experience while we are passing through this one! We sure to serve a GREAT GOD!
